Mati is for you, if you feel...
Lonely
You talk with coworkers, but you are alone with your problems? There's no one you can ask for advice. Sometimes you risk discussing these issues, but the accompanying emotions bend the discussion towards gossiping or complaining, rather the solving the issue.
Misunderstood
You remain silent during the meetings, because you are afraid of others' reactions to your words, you don't understand expectations and want to avoid being judged. You have a feeling that anything you say can be turned against you.
Stressed
Your hands are cold, you sweat, you swallow nervously, you wake up with a stomach ache if your day at work starts with a difficult meeting. Your symptoms worsen when something is said during a meeting that you disagree with or when you are required to respond.

What's your definition of effective professional communication?Good professional communication, in our view, is when you consistently express your thoughts to others without holding back. It involves providing sufficient context about your observations, feelings, and needs to maximize the chances of the recipient understanding your intention. Bonus points for prioritizing facts over opinions, making actionable requests, and asking questions that bring clarity, not confusion.

Is it necessary to ask for permission to transcribe the meeting? In short, it varies based on the location. Given the complexity of the matter, we recommend conducting your own research (this article does an excellent job explaining it in the context of the USA). To ensure you're on the safe side, we advise always seeking permission from all meeting participants.

Which meeting apps are compatible? At the moment, Mati seamlessly integrates with Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, and Slack Huddle. We have plans to add more app integrations in the near future.
